Soulfit Wellness Institute is a small, boutique centre offering a diverse range of Yoga classes to suit all levels and styles to expand your mind!!

There’s so many great things that Yoga offers us

Soulfit Wellness Institute is a boutique studio offering Yoga in Salisbury. We have intimate classes of no more than 14 in a range of styles that cater for any experience level.  Whether you are a beginner or intermediate Yogi, you will love our Vinyasa, Hatha and Inyeger,  classes.

Classes are adjusted to your level and progress as you feel more comfortable. All teachers provide a loving and supportive space, along with a strong focus to mindfulness and bringing equilibrium to your body and mind so you can find peace more often throughout the day.

All equipment provided, however if you would like to bring your own mat you are welcome.  If you have any specific questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us below.

We currently service the following suburbs for Yoga  Salisbury, Tarragindi, Moorooka, Greenslopes, MacGregor and surrounding suburbs.

Monday 6.30pm

Flow and Yin 

Kathie

Encompasses both Flow and Yin to provide the perfect balance, finishing with pranayama and meditation at the end. Great for beginners (and intermediates deepening poses) to establish a strong foundation to their yoga practice.

Wednesday 6.30pm

Hatha Alignment

Iris

Focuses on getting your muscles/
tendons and ligaments
into engagement whilst holding Hatha poses.  Great for strengthening
and realigning your posture.

Thursday 6.30pm

Deep  
Stretch

Samantha

Be inspired to move more freely, feel more movement
within your body and reduce tension held in
muscles.  Nicola will take you through some
deep stretches followed with some
challenging poses to expand your mind and
your mobility

Saturday 7.15am

Vinyasa

muscles.  Kathie will take you through beautiful flow poses
to stimulate expansion of the body and
min, leaving you feel refreshed, revitalised
and improved mobility.

Sunday 8.15am

Sam will take you through a gentle practice,
that will reinvigorate you on a beautiful Sunday,
relax and bring back equilibrium to start you off
for the next week.
Open to beginners and intermediate, looking to start
or continue their weekly practice.

MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Kathie
KathieYoga Instructor
Kathie has been practicing yoga since 2008. Her primary practice during that time has been Ashtanga yoga. Ashtanga is a strong flowing practice that places emphasis on the breath to move the body and calm the mind. She also has experience in a number of other styles, which she weaves into her classes to complement the needs of the students. These including hatha, vinyasa, and yin. Kathie has a PhD in psychology and has been trained to make her classes trauma aware. This means the classes are taught in a way that encourage the students to develop a sense of empowerment in their practice. Overall, she aims to hold space as people build both mental and physical strength, and dive deeply into self-discovery.

IrisYoga Instructor
Iris was initially drawn to Yoga to find a long lasting release for her recurrent back problems, but was soon also amazed by the great joy and peace of mind it brought her. She has a down to earth approach to Yoga, and try to raise the joy in her students, to disconnect them from their fear, anger and anxiety, as she lead them through fluid and creative flows.
Samantha
SamanthaYoga Instructor
Samantha first came to yoga with the intention of self healing and exploration. Through this process she has found a love and passion for her life which has allowed her to start living a more balanced and authentic lifestyle. Through combining yoga with her other passions in life, like travel, she has had the privilege to explore the world and yoga together, completely immersing herself in the yogic lifestyle in other countries like Peru, Bali and India. Samantha recently visited India where she completed her training with traditional Indian teachers in an ashram setting. Samantha is also really passionate about the breath and she uses this throughout her practice to help comfortably move deeper into the pose, release stress and create more meditation, leaving you feeling deeply connected to your mind and body.
